Georgia Perimeter College will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its official dedication on Saturday, May 23, at GPC Night with the Braves at Turner Field.

The college, then known as DeKalb College, was dedicated on May 23, 1965.

The dedication day event will begin at 2 p.m. with a private, pre-game meet-and-greet and book signing with former Braves baseball player Brian Jordan in the right field patio area. Then GPC celebrants will participate in a pre-game parade around the field. The Atlanta Braves take on the Milwaukee Brewers at 4:10 p.m.
