environmental impact of snakes

Events took a slithery turn during the Decatur Campus Earth Week activities, when Paul Gregorzek, anatomy and physiology professor, led a presentation on snakes and their environmental impact. Participating students included, from left, Jackie Oung, Vikia Jennings and Chelsea Mori. This year’s two-week celebration also included opportunities for students to crochet and make jewelry from recycled materials and participate in a vendor and information fair. The events, sponsored by the Science Department and organized by physics and astronomy professor Susannah Lomant, culminated with a student-involved cleanup of the South River. (photo by Leita Cowart)
