Faculty, staff and students on all five Georgia Perimeter College campuses got into the groove of the 1960s in February while celebrating the college’s 50^th anniversary. Among the special events were symposia featuring the history, music and culture of the 1960s, told through special panels, art shows and music. From a discussion about Muhammad Ali, to reflections on the first years of the college, to a college-wide concert featuring English faculty member Gregg Kelley’s band, Louder than Dirt, the week was packed full of remembrances of the decade.
