GPC student Adhithya Rajasekaran, who barely spoke English when he moved to the United States from India three years ago, has won the prestigious, national Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. The scholarship program honors outstanding community college students as they transfer to four-year colleges and awards up to $30,000 per year for up to three years. Rajasekaran attended Newton Campus and earned his math degree from GPC in May. He is studying electrical engineering at Georgia Tech. … Read more.
Dunwoody Campus SGA president Juan Rodriguez was named Georgia Perimeter’s 2013 Regents Scholar. “GPC nurtured my talent and helped me grow into the student and leader that I am today,” said Rodriguez, who graduated in May and transferred to Emory University. He plans to attend law school and enter politics.
