A former GPC Dual Enrollment student who is now studying education at Georgia State University is the recipient of the GPC Alumni Association Scholarship.
Asma Hajaj was born and raised in Oxford, Miss., although her family is originally from Palestine. She began attending GPC’s Alpharetta Campus after her family moved to the metro Atlanta area from Mississippi, and says she enjoyed GPC’s small class sizes and the individualized attention she received from professors.
Hajaj transferred to Georgia State this fall as a sophomore education major.
Check out what GPC means to Hajaj and what receiving a scholarship has meant to her.
